This push-up is almost a perfect exercise because it works for your core, shoulders, triceps and chest all at once. It is highly effective in sculpting, toning, shaping and defining your upper body. You can easily adapt the push-up to suit your ability.
Some people find the 90 degree wrist bend uncomfortable when doing classic push-ups. Enter the Perfect Push-Up which claims to eliminate wrist pain while improving your entire push-up experience. It consists of two nonslip discs, each with a single handle attached. The handles have a rubberised grip for comfort. They rotate freely on the discs.
You are meant to place each disc on the floor, then grip the handles and assume a push up position. Because the push up elevates you slightly off the floor, you can in theory dip lower with each push up for a greater range of motion.
