Slam ball workouts

Bulgarian Squat: improves balance and tones abs and legs.

 

Method: stand with your feet together in front of the ball.  Place your right foot back at the tip of the ball balancing it with your toes.  Applying pressure on the left foot, lower your body to perform a lunge by bending your right knee forward. Straighten your legs while standing. Repeat.

 

 

Burpee slam: increases your metabolism while working out.

 

Method: hold the ball to your chest while you stand a little wider than your chest. Raise the ball above your head while you jump. Drop your hips down and throw the ball onto the floor. Catch the ball and press it against the floor while you set yourself in a plank position. Hop on to bring your feet forward while still holding the ball to your chest. Repeat.

Bear crawl: tones your shoulder muscles.

Method:  Get into a bear crawl position (with both arms and legs poised above the ground, keeping your back straight). Crawl forward while pushing the slam ball ahead using one hand or alternating hands. After reaching the end of the room, turn around and repeat.
